Today I Slowly Drank Cold Lemon Water
Mon, May 25, 2026
At the white table, the sound of ice in the lemon water made everything feel cooler.
Today I spent a quiet moment with the cold lemon water in the white table by the window. I drank it slowly while the ice touched the glass, and the ordinary room started to feel a little softer around me. the lemon slice glowed pale yellow in the quiet early-summer light. It was not a big event, but noticing it carefully made the time feel clearer and easier to keep in my memory. I like days when a small thing can change the air like this. When I slow down enough to look, colors, sounds, and textures seem to leave gentle traces behind. By the end of it, I felt that the afternoon felt freshly rinsed. I hope I can keep noticing these little pieces of calm tomorrow too.
