Today I Walked After the Rain

Today I spent a quiet moment with the road after the rain in the quiet street after clouds began to clear. I walked slowly and watched puddles hold the sky, and the ordinary room started to feel a little softer around me. each wet patch caught a different piece of light. It was not a big event, but noticing it carefully made the time feel clearer and easier to keep in my memory. I like days when a small thing can change the air like this. When I slow down enough to look, colors, sounds, and textures seem to leave gentle traces behind. By the end of it, I felt that even a careful step could feel bright. I hope I can keep noticing these little pieces of calm tomorrow too.
